When I saw the vehicle that the system had been fitted to, unfortunately one of the rubber mounting bobbins had pulled apart and the pipe & silencer had dropped & was rubbing on the chassis. In my opinion it does not seem man enough for the job.

Also, I do not like the way they are mounted through the boot floor. There is just a stud, from the bobbin, with an 8mm nut poking through with the carpet lying over it.

I was expecting the silencers to be Cherry Bomb in appearance but they appeared neat and well constructed from sheet aluminium.

They do not seem to protrude further than the standard system unless, as there was in this case, it happens to be parked next to a standard system'd car. It is, therefore, not excessive.

I only heard it inside a building about 3' from a wall. It sounded very pleasant. Not excessive, probably just right.

If I go for it I would not let them fit it as I would want to modify it's rear mounting method. I may, therefore, save a few quid but the carriage charges would erode any saving.

I don't think I'll bother just yet. Perhaps I can persuade them to let me have a set for evaluation and review purposes ?
