= Blown Engine/Drivers footwell fills with water/'Pulley' in the centre
of the engine had to be replaced/Window seals, front, back and both
sides had to be replaced/Clutch Fluid leaked out, car was stuck in gear
- The AA was called out/Oil Pressure valve (or so I was told) was stuck
open, no oil pressure - AA was called out and car was taken away via
a flatbed, Air conditioning belt snapped, electrical failure, engine
would not start - AA was called out, car was taken away on a flat bed
truck, door panels have been replaced but are once again becoming stained
as water still leaks via the windows, the 'carbon' strips along the
A-post 'lift', the fuel gauge illumination is dull compared to the other
dials, the indicator arm 'fell' off (vibration worked the screw loose),
both Exhaust end pipes fell off on the way back from Le Mans this year,......there
is more, but I am probably boring you.
MinorProb = Rear light cover seals 'split' and the lights fill up with water - Boot light falls out/Original Handbrake leather gaiter did not fit/Electric Windows have a mind of their own/Heater blows hot out of the dashboard vents, regardless of the control positions (this has happened since the aircon unit was looked at during the 18,000 mile service/indicators rarely cancel/Handbrake works (if you almost pull it off....etc. etc. |

noise (now cured), Steering wheel vibration when braking (front disks
not true?) , feels like the suspension ride height/ damper setting is
incorrect, various bits of trim loose, wipers falling apart, what looks
like second hand safety belts. Broken Rocker shaft, rear dampers, brake caliper, very noisy valve gear, ALL of the above before 1.3K miles - car off the road for 5 weeks in total at HR Owen and TVR. Engine rebuilt with crank damper and new rocker/cam - much better now! |
