Mrs. Cowley are unceremoniously awoken from their slumbers by two Australian villains by the name of Colin and Ray emptying the barrels of their shotguns into the dresser. They tie up Mrs. Cowley and make off with jewels & money.

Haskins visits the offices of Warburtons, a gold importer who is thanking him for the squads help on an attempted blag of a gold shipment during a dock strike. Whilst there he shows an interest in Krugerands and is given a brochure.

Colin and Ray, Realising that the Sweeney are closing in enlist the help of Wally Vince and ask him to deal with Haskins.

Later that day in a pub, Jack tells Haskins there's a rumour going around the office that he's been offered a job as head of security for a large clearing bank. As Jack puts his coat on he finds an envelope with £100 in £1 notes in his pocket. He's not sure whether it was meant for Haskins or to make him suspicious.

Sunday morning and Wally rings Jack from a call box pretending it's a wrong number and leaves the phone off the hook in order to keep the line engaged if Haskins tries to ring him. Using another phone he then does the same with George. He then rings Haskins and tells him to meet him at the London Road football ground as he has some information about the recent blaggings. Haskins tries to call Jack and George but as expected their phones are engaged.

Once at the ground Wally gives Haskins an envelope containing some bank notes claimed to have come from the recent blag. As he takes it two police officers appear from A10 (Complaints against police investigation department). They then accompany Haskins back to his house where they check his bank books, shares and other financial documents In the greenhouse they find more money hidden in a plant pot. He is then suspended until further notice.

Back at the factory, Jack shows George the £100 and they try to fathom why Haskins and why now. They search Haskins office for clues and find the Krugerand brochure in his desk. Jack pays him a visit dressed as a TV repair man. Haskins tells him that Wally set him up for the Aussie gang.

Colin and Ray are working at the Trans-World oil sports centre there they rendezvous with Judy, the secretary to the boss of Warburtons and it transpires that she has been giving them the addresses of clients who had bought considerable amounts of gold. She gives Colin another 5 contacts for which she is to receive £6,500.

Jack goes to see Mr. Cowley who tells him that he had just bought £10,000 worth of Krugerands from Warburtons. He then visits Warburtons and convinces Earle, the boss, that there is a link between the blags and his sales. This of course alerts Judy who packs her bags and hastily leaves the country but not before warning Colin and Ray.

Jack receives a call from Earle to say that Judy is missing. Whilst there George finds a rubber tag, worn by swimmers, in the hat stand. Earle tells them that they use the sports centre.

By the time they get there the Aussies have flown. Wally Vince has also disappeared so the charges against Haskins are dropped.
