Spurred on by the success of switching the rear number plate lights to LED, it was a fairly simple job to switch the interior bulbs to interior LED lights too.
 

 
The benefits of LED’s are well known.
 
They draw less current (less chance of flattening the battery)
They run cold
The light emitted is crisper
And they last a long time
